James is smoking by the Observation Window again, a pack of cigarettes on the table next to the ashtray and a cup of coffee. There was a magazine earlier, but he's hidden it in the event that a certain female companion of his joins him and asks what he's doing on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

"You know those things will kill you?"

Sharon can't stand smoking, why do humans feel the need to shorten their already short existence. It exasperates her.

“Yes, but so can driving, flying or standing on the sidewalk,” he replies, unimpressed with her unwarranted Surgeon General’s warning. “Anything can kill you.”

She begins to glare at him and then realises it was her own fault for sticking her nose where it wasn't needed.

"That's true." She says, joining him by the window.

“I could also say sitting here could kill you, but that probably won’t make a cosmetic difference considering how the dead look and feel here.” He watches her sit, then snuffs out the cigarette butt in the ashtray.

Because mun is evil Wesker thought he saw someone he knew, the seat across from James is suddenly full of teenaged scientist.

"Hello." His head's turned a little to one side, away from most of the room.

“Good afternoon,” he says, brows slightly raised. “What brings you to the chair on the other side of the table?”

The chair on that side of the table was full!

Wesker is not so annoying and will not say that. He does make a mental note to have a cover story next time he drops in one someone as, well, cover. This is what happens when you have to engage in indentured skullduggery. You have to make it up as you go along.

"That's a good question," he agrees, buying time.

“It is.”

Bond’s not in the business of selling time.

Well, I can understand why you turned so pale before, Bond.

Bond grins. It isn’t friendly.

“Can you, Delia?”

I can make certain assumptions and see if the facts fall into place.
