It has been some time since the door from UNIT HQ last opened onto Milliways, although if the truth be told the Brigadier has not much missed it. The place is acceptable enough as pubs go. The company's certainly all right. But the fact of the matter is, he's been simply too busy to even consider the place, save when the topic's come up in some report or other. It definitely hasn't come up for him in the past few hours; his mind's been very firmly fixed on things of his own world- or, more accurately, things of the next, such as they are. Not everybody makes it out of UNIT's confrontations with the unknown alive.

... well, this place is a step up from the funeral, if nothing else.
