It's a blur at first--flashes of movement like film played too fast, sounds sped up and slowed down. Then like an elevator coming to a stop, they're back.

Charlie, Joe, Broom, David, Svava, Scott, and even Sir Didymus still on his steed.

Back.

Just back, like they'd never left.

Svava glances around, startled for a moment, then leans back against the Bar, laughing softly. She holds up Edielwiess to look at the kitten face to face; the calico just licks her nose.

"Well... we're all back. We'll figure this out. And I almost do wish I could get drunk."

*Scott reaches over and pets Edielwiess, adressing the both of them*

Thanks. For everything.

Svava chuckles, and sets Edielweiss on Scott's shoulder so she can hug him.

"You got your picture back. And thank you for everything too."

*he hugs her back, smiling as the kitten purrs in his ear*

No problem. If you need me for anything else, you come and find me, okay?

*the moment is interrupted as he fails to stifle a yawn*

I guess I'd better get home soon.

"I will." Svava nods, smiling. "And you better come back here, of course."

Nothing could keep me away.

*Giving Edielwiess one last cuddle, he deposits her back into Svava's arms and gathers up his belongings*

Svava takes back the kitten, and smiles at Scott.

"Take Care."

She kisses her fingertips and waves after him.

*he waves back on his way out the door*

"You can't get drunk? Jesus. You poor little thing." Joe reaches behind the bar and steals a bottle of whiskey.

"At least on regular drinks. I wouldn't know about much anything else." Svava reaches over to pat Joe's shoulder.

"If I were you, I'd try everything else I could find."

"I tried rum the other day, with a pirate captain?" She gives him a wry smile.

*David turns to face her and sighs* Will you be able to read your answers, Mistress Valkyrie?

Svava blinks at David, and pulls out the letters. Edielwiess' gets set on the bar, and she starts opening hers, then pauses.

"Would you teach me, so I could?" Looking back up at him.

*he nods* I could do my best. Your command of the spoken language is good enough there shouldn't be a problem, really.

That is, if you'll accept me as a teacher?

"Of course I will." She smiles, and bows her head slightly. "Thank you, David."

Though out this section of Millitime however, Edielwiess has poked at, clawed, pawed, and managed to get her envelope open. The kitten drags the paper out with her little teeth, the letter unfolding.

It looks blank, but she examines it with her whiskers, nose twitching, giving it the kitty-sniff test.

Then she sits down, tail wrapped around her paws, purring.
