Not all of UNIT's work requires active response. They are, after all, asked with analysis and monitoring of possible otherworldly threats in addition to direct response. Thus, while UNIT headquarters has been quiet ever since the incident with the Daemons, it has by no means been idle. There's been far too much data to correlate and far too many reports from elsewhere to sift through.
