Taking donation is a little bit different from taking Transfer. Not a lot, but a little, so when Suzi found Garion to do so in preparation for the first actual work she's had in months it didn't result in Post Transfer syndrome. The difference is a little technical, but basically depends on which selyn system the selyn is being put in, under Transfer circumstances selyn is taken into the primary system, and under donation cirumcstances it is put directly into the secondary system. The secondary system is rarely used as a backup to the 28 days of selyn that a Sime can carry because it is difficult to move selyn from there into the primary system. Due to trips to Whistler's world, Suzi is getting used to it. She's also getting used to the over-full feeling of having both systems filled to the brim.

However, today she's not getting ready to leave, she's waiting to do what she was designed by nature to do. Its a good feeling, and one that has her smiling a little more than normal as she curls up in her favorite chair with her book propped on her knees for ease of reading.
