Shadow comes into the bar, holding a piece of paper. He goes to the message board and hesitates for a few minutes before pinning it up

It’s not that her homework is boring. There are just far more interesting things to do (at least as far as she’s concerned), when one is Bound to a magical bar. So Luna had been watching Shadow as he pinned up the sign, and had watched him as he left through the lake door, and is still watching him when he comes back in again.
“Moon,” she says approvingly, with a small nod, and she twirls her quill around her fingers.
Shadow had noticed the girl when he came into the bar, but had been busy deciding whether or not to actually offer his services. It hadn't exactly worked out so well last time, after all.
He looks at her as she says his name, and is glad to see there is an empty seat next to her. He makes his way towards it with his cider, saying as he goes, 'Yes, that's me.'
Fat Charlie has been sitting at the bar for a while, brooding mostly. He's been rather broody lately; there hasn't been much to be pleased about.
He's sitting quite near Shadow with a large mug of coffee before him. Upon looking up, he notices the larger man--large in that scary-beat-the-crap-out-of-you sort of way--and quickly, he turns back to his drink. That cider definitely smells good from over here, though.
It's unfortunate that Fat Charlie doesn't know that Shadow doesn't like to beat the crap out of people unless it's really necessary, because there's a seat next to him, and Shadow needs a place to sit.
He comes over and takes the seat, sipping his cider slowly, with a smile. It's definitely as good as it smells.

Her eyes are wide with curiosity, and her smile vague. There’s a distracting smudge of (bluish, but shifting into green) ink on the end of her nose.

'I don't know,' He say, sipping his cider thoughtfully. 'But I've been told at one point I wasn't alive, so perhaps I was waning.'
