Lilly's spent enough time in the brothel office and her empty suite for the day. It's very clearly time for a drink.

She orders a vodka tonic and takes a seat at the bar, her back to the door. There's a bit of paperwork with her, but she's ignoring it in favor of glancing around for familiar faces.

*There's one awfully familiar face, passing through the bar on her way back from the House of Arch.

She changes direction when she sees Lilly, though, and there's more than faint concern on her face.*

Lilly's got a smile for her, as always, and it doesn't even look overly strained.

"Heya Meg. How's it going?"

Pas mal, *Meg answers, glossing over mental bug-infested space pilots and other tricksy issues for now.

She slips into the seat across from Lilly, and tilts her head.*

For you?

"Not too bad," Lilly answers carefully.

She arches an eyebrow.

"Of course, I have this crazy hunch you may have talked to Indy lately? It's wacky, but it would explain the patented BFF Face Of Concern."

"Evening, Lilly."

Well, it's not a familiar-familiar face, but recognizable. Probably.

Definitely, even if it takes Lilly just a second to remember her name.

"A-ajedrez, right? From Mexico with the psychotic ex-boyfriend?"

Certain details stick better than others.

Ajedrez grins.

"That's me."

"Nice to see you again," Lilly says, grinning.

"How've you been?"

Inigo strides into the bar from practicing outside and heads to the bar, taking a seat near Lilly.

"A glass of water, if you would be so kind."

He may be tempted to order something stronger later, but for now he just wants something cool and liquid--cold as it's getting outside, he's covered in a light sweat from practice.

Lilly glances over as he sits down, blinks, and looks again. She starts to grin.

"In- in from out back? Hi."

[seeks_sixfinger]

Inigo nods, gesturing to the sword.

"Yes--I have been practicing."

[awesome_lilly]

Of course he has. Lilly smiles brighter.

"You're a swordfighter, then? I've had lots of lessons in swordfighting, but only as something to do around here. Not like a profession or anything."

[kitchen_maid]

How about a familiar face with a bonus unfamiliar one?

"Good evening, Lilly."

[awesome_lilly]

Lilly looks up, and blinks.

"Amy. I guess it's been a while, huh?"

[kitchen_maid]

"Just a few months," says Amy, with a smile.

"Lilly, this is Susan."

The baby adds an emphatic but cheerful, "Gaaaaaah."

Lilly's eyebrows stay up.

"Susan, huh?"

There's a brief pause before she says anything else.

"Nice name."

The girl (or young woman--she's near Lilly's age, at any rate) crossing the room from the bar towards the fire with a teacup cradled in her hands is probably not a familiar face; in fact, from the ornate yellow sash with the elaborate bow to the extravagantly long orchid and white sleeves and the long staff tucked under her arm, there's probably not much familiar about her to a twenty-first century American.

It's far to say Lilly and her outfit looks as strange to Yuna.

She waves, trailing yards of linen, when Lilly's glance passes over her, anyway, with a cheery smile. It's more or less habit.

Lilly smiles back, from inclination as much as habit.

"Hey there."

"Hello." She drifts off-course, towards Lilly's table.

She can't actually bow properly with her hands full, no matter how much grace she employs, but she inclines her head. "I'm Yuna."

"I'm Lilly."

She does a head nod too, in case that's customary wherever this girl comes from.

"Nice to meet you, Yuna. I don't think I've seen you before, are you new to Milliways?"

Lilly thinks she'd remember the outfit, if not the girl. She's half-wondering if she could pull off sleeves like that.
