"Good evening, Master Thom," he says with a smirk.

The Rider raises his eyebrows slightly at his subdued mood.

"How are you this fine evening?"

The Rider grins broadly at him.

"How is the artwork coming along?"

*smirks* Finer than the evening, but not as fine as me.

The Rider quirks an eyebrow.

"You reall must bring some for me too look at some time."

And maybe you should go first.

"Go first?" the Rider queries.

*clarifies* You said you draw. I'd be interested in seeing that.

The Rider smiles slyly.

"Ah. I see. Perhaps. My work tends to...disturb people."

*gasps and claps a hand dramatically over his mouth* Oh, how horrid.

*lets the hand fall, grinning* Not a problem.

The Rider holds Thom's gaze for a moment before smiling easy again.

"Be careful what you wish for," he murmurs.

*without a change in his expression* I've stopped wishing since I got it.

"Oh, really?" the Rider says, bemused. "Can I be rude and ask what your wish was?"
