And Todd laughs. Loud, hard and seemingly forever. That's the best thing he's seen in a long time. A long, long time. It's been a shitty few weeks, what can I say.
Todd wipes tears out of his eyes, catches his breath, and starts to walk over. "Oh, Milo, really. That just made my night. How the hell are you?" He clasps a hand onto Thom's shoulder, hard.
"I'm sure you're sure," Todd murmurs, taking his hand off Thom's shoulder. "See, this is why I've got to teach you some baseball, Thom. Magic's fine and all, but it can't always save you. 'Specially not from curve balls."
He does, however, give him a big grin from across the room, where he's standing up against the infernal Coke machine. He's really quite obsessed.

Thom smiles encouragingly at Todd.
What he is encouraging remains unclear.*

The can stops in mid-air and drops into Thom's waiting hands. He gives it a quizzical look.*

And he tosses it back. Hey, this is kinda fun! Unless it hits someone in the head - wherein it becomes twice as much fun.

But for now he's doing all right.
Back to Todd!*

Todd's winding up. Just the way when he's about to pitch a winning ball game.
It's gonna be a curve ball, Milo. Watch the fuck out.
And whoosh. There it goes, a speedy aggressive little can, too. He'll take your eye out that way.
