Ryuzaki never slept much while he was alive: now that he’s dead, he’s kept that constantly tired look about him with the added bonus that now he never sleeps.
As such, when he notices the door he knows that he isn’t dreaming it. He approaches it cautiously (a habit from life: nothing here can hurt him, and he knows it) and then opens the door and slips through.
It’s a bar. If there’s one thing the detective didn’t expect to find here - maybe he needs to sharpen up his skills - it’s a bar, but he seems to have stumbled into one anyhow. He’s barefoot but at least he’s dressed, and he gives the room one wide-eyed glance before stepping all the way in.
