For the second time in as many visits, Melou is cranky. He has yet to decide if it's a good or a bad thing that it's for an entirely different reason this time

That's a shame, it is.

Because there's a girl coming over who's really happy to see him. Even if he is cranky.

She hangs over the back of the couch, looking down at him. "Hey."

He might make an exception.

Maybe.

"Hey." He replies grumpily.

Ugh, grumpy again. She just looks a little concerned.

"What's the matter?" she asks quietly.

"I hate my family." He frowns and drains his glass.

"Well, some of them."

Tom has sulked with an entire bottle of whiskey before. It's not a good look.

He sits casually in the arm chair across from the couch and nods in Melou's direction. "Evening."

Melou looks over in the direction of the voice and forces enough of a polite smile.

"Evening."

[young_tmriddle]

"I couldn't help but notice the bottle of whiskey. Is everything quite alright, or are you just fond of the drink?"

[dragon_twin]

"I'm fond of it, but I've had to put up with some bitchy family members lately." He sighs. "So, kind of both, I guess."
