Lir, the silver vixen says.
I know, is the reply, and Hale turns to look at the newcomer.

But then, perhaps Urza has seen eyes as yellow as a beast's before?
Magic, the fox comments. He seems to be made of it.

It would be rude to pry, so he does not. Merely cocks his head at them and gives a curt nod.

Powerful, she assesses. If he desired to be he could become a god.
Aye. I can feel it.
Powerful enough that he can hear us, though I doubt he possesses the lir-gifts.
Kya hops up onto a stool, the better to see the stranger.

"A fine animal," he says stiffly.

Her name is Kya, and I am Hale."

"I am Urza," he answers. "Is this place the realm of the Cheysuli?"
Reply
"If you were, this place would be a Homanan tavern," Hale remarks. "But no. They call this place Milliways, where all worlds intersect at the end of time."
He's been here nearly two years and even he doesn't quite get it.
You are well come to Millways regardless of your rather unconventional manner of entrance, Urza, adds Kya.

"You say 'intersect'. This is a multiplanar nexus of some sort?"
He had read of such places but never expected to find one.

Because it's a real winner.
In a manner of speaking, Kya says, her understanding of "multiplanar nexus" no greater than Hale's. That is, if that is the term used to describe the junction where space, time and everything else meets.

Everyone just calls it "Milliways".

It pricks at sensitive Cheysuli pride to think that there are things in the world beyond one's mental capacity to understand.
And nobody likes to be seen as stupid.
"They ... do, though for the most part it is ... involuntary."
He's thinking of the time when a water spout appeared out of nowhere and brought him to Milliways.
"They just ... arrive, through some kind of magical force.
The will of the gods perhaps."
Hey works for Hale.

In his experience, it doesn't take that powerful a sorceror to summon beings from other worlds.

"Sometimes we go back to our worlds," he continues on. "And normally it is as it was left during the moment of one's departure.
But there are others who cannot leave. They remain here for however long the bar intends them to stay."
Bound, the fox remarks. They stay in the bar until the bar releases them.
Word from the rats says that if you cannot see the door that you came through, you are Bound.
Reply
"And what of you, then? Are you also 'Bound'?"
