A pair of large black cats rub Giles' legs.

[watcher_g_man]

Giles started, and then noticed the cats.

"Oh hello there." He peered down, unsure whether they were normal cats, or really somebody else. Hard to tell around this place. Plus, people have been turned into rats and other creatures on occasion where he's from.

So he just looked at them for the moment.

Guppy appears behind him.

"Hey Giles. Sorry, are they bothering you? I'm catsitting and they keep stalking people for food."

Giles blinked, and replied with a small smile, "What? Oh no, not at all. Was just wondering if they were in fact normal cats. So hard to tell around here."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy smiles a little.

"Well I'd be surprised if Scampi is anything other than a cat. I don't know for certain about Orion, he's not mine."

[watcher_g_man]

"Ah, that's the one you're sitting at the moment then? Orion?" Giles peered down, trying to tell the difference.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yes. He's the slightly fatter one." he adds.

No cat bias there.

"Otherwise they look pretty similar. They're not related as far as I know."

Giles leaned down to give them both some scritches idly.

"I see. You are well then?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yes, thank you." he says quite quickly. He looks tired.

The cats purr contentedly.

"How are you? Got a case going?" he asks, eying the books.

[watcher_g_man]

Giles took note of that, but didn't comment on it.

"More like being prepared for future ones. There's now been two occurances here of dangers from my world. Supplying information in case there's a third or fourth incident."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Did I miss something?"

He's been a tad preoccupied and in any case, lives on an odd time schedule.

"Errr... yes? The recent loss in voices? The event where people were randomly bursting into song a few months back?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Oh yes, I remember the song one." He fiddles with his hair. "Most embarrassing. Must have missed the other one."

Giles face was very grave as he intoned, "They were both dangerous events that occured originally in my world. The Demon Sweet and now the Gentlemen. Too much to be considered coincedence. So before anything else comes here, felt it best if the library here was prepared with research."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods. He wasn't denying the seriousness, given that he had spent several days of the Sweet incident wandering around with a fire extinguisher.

"Good idea. A few days time saved in research could save lives with things like that."

"Exactly, between information on background, and my personal notes of accounts, it'll give anyone a well head start, if not an outright solution."
