Mark is sitting at a table in the bar, drinking an over-large glass of iced tea, and whistling to himself. Those who know such things might recognize the song Celluloid Heroes Do feel free to bug him. He's extremely cheerful.

Knox looks up from his research reading and at Mark on hearing a vaguely familiar tune. "Kinks, right?"

Mark looks up from his own notebook and blinks, grinning. "Yep. It's actually the end-credits song to the film that I'm currently working on. It really fits in a strange way."

"Anyone who uses the Kinks for a movie gets points in my book. Nothing against the Stones, or the Who, but the Kinks were just more fun sometimes.

"But you gott tell me how the song fits the film. That's the one about the old movie stars, right?" It's been ages since Knox has heard it, though.

"Yeah, the song's called Celluloid Heroes, and it's about old films and old film stars. My film's about, well, it's an adaptation of a book satirizing the film industry, mainly the time period from the early inception of film." Alright, so the boy uses big words when he babbles about what he loves. "It's really hilarious, actually."

Young man- at least, he looks like a young man- all in black, also in the bar, licking a chocolate ice cream. Also extremely cheerful, with the slightly smug, boyish grin of someone who knows he's won something important. Were it not for the ice cream, he'd be whistling too, albeit much more off-key. He looks slightly surprised to be in the bar, but not at all unhappy.

On his way to the bar, he happens to catch Mark's eye.

Mark smiles at him and chuckles a bit. "Now that looks cool. And now I'm craving ice cream." He looks slightly sunburnt, like someone who's not used to sun has been out in quite a lot of sun.

Sam grins back. "Thornton's ice cream. Can't beat it, at least in London. But if you're craving, why not ask Bar?"

"Well, yeah. That would be logical, wouldn't it?" He stands, wandering over to Bar. "Hey, Bar, I'd like some of what he's got, actually." It appears, with a cherry on top, and a spoon. "Now that looks good." Mark smiles, then looks a bit sheepish. "Oh, er, where are my manners? I'm Mark Cohen." He holds out a hand, not the one holding his ice cream.

For various reasons, Truman doesn't.

So he asked, "What song is that?"

Mark looks up, mid-tea-sip. "Oh, it's called Celluloid Heroes. It's an older song from my time about film stars." He smiles. "Have a seat if you like. And some tea."

"Sounds nice, and thanks. Had some beer, but I guess chasing with tea works."

He set his beer, Corellian Ale down on the table, and set the basket of fried paradoxes in the middle.

"Help yourself to paradoxes, she gave me extra today," he added as he poured himself some iced tea.

Mark grins, reaching over and taking a paradox, examining it for a moment. "You know, in all my time here, I don't think I've ever had one of these." He takes a bite, then eyes it. "Strange. Tastes like french fries with mexican rice."
