A cloaked figure walks up to the bar and sits down at a stool. As he looks over the drinks list he reaches up and pulls the cowl off of his head. His violet eyes shining, he brushes the white hair out of his eyes and tucks it behind his pointed elven ears.

Veronica - remaining as short on necessary description as the average small, skinny white girl - approaches from further down the bar, brushing her hands as she goes.

"Can I get you a drink?"

"White wine if you please miss?"

There is a questioning tone to his voice and a fire of excitement in his voice.

"Sure. Not picky about the brand?" she asks, as she moves along the row of bottles.

"If you have any Feywine or Frostwine that would be fine, I am afraid I do not know what brands you might have in stock here."

[watching_you]

"Oh," she says, and veers away from the selections from France and Italy, moving instead towards the fancy crystal bottles that sit on a shelf labelled 'Not Earth'. "Right, should have guessed. Don't worry, we've got everything, here."

"In that case a glass of Feywine please."

Drizzt places two gold coins on the counter near her side.

"I am Drizzt Do`Urden it is a pleasure to meet you miss?"

"Drizzt..." she tries out the name, as she pours.

"I'm Veronica Mars, from Neptune, California, Earth, Two-thousand and six. Good to meet you."

"Do`Urden from the Dwarven Kingdom of Mithril Hall in the Silver Marches of Faerun."

A great black panther saunters in at this time and slinks over to stand next to Drizzt at the counter.

Drizzt looks down at the panther and smiles.

"And a saucer of milk for my friend please."

Veronica backs up a little. Holy shiiiiiiiit, that's a big cat.

"Yeah. Okay. Right. Sure. Milk it is."

"Do not be afraid Guenhwyvar will not harm anyone here."

Drizzt reaches down and begins scratching Guen behind her right ear.

In respone to this the 600 pound panther begins to purr.

"Oh good! Goood."

Veronica may still sound a little skeptical, but she waves a hand to dismiss this.

"I'm a dog person, is all. Here's your milk."

"Thank you Veronica."

Lowering the milk to the floor Drizzt runs a hand down Guens back as she lies down on the floor and begins to lap her milk.

sitting up straight Drizzt begins to sip his wine.

"You're welcome."

With a smile, she brushes her hands.

"Can I get you anything else?"

"Not at the moment BUt thank you very much."

Drizzt reaches into his coin pouch and tosses a gold piece towards Veronica.

"Here, for you."

He raises his glass in a toast and continues to sip his wine while looking up and down the bar.

Veronica catches the coin, awkwardly, from the air.

"Huh. Thanks."

With a grin, "Well, if you need anything more, give me a call."

And she heads off to serve another customer.
