Perhaps that might have something to do with the finger trailing lightly along the space inbetween the scars and the man to whom the finger belongs.

He cracks an eye open to peer at Nick and then lets it slide shut a moment later.

Lawrence arches himself appreciatively and then sighs, opening his eyes again to watch Nicholas.

A quick swirl of his fingers against the skin before he pulls his hand away.

"I didn't mean to disturb you."

He presses himself up so that he's reclining on his elbows, regarding Nick with a light smile.

"I would not say no to any disturbance of yours, Nicholas."

It's arguable his own eyes always hold that sort of look, unless he's at an extreme of emotion.

Nick leans over and cups his hand behind Lawrence's head to pull him close enough... to whisper in his ear.

"Is that so?"

Surely Nick can hear the speed of his heartbeat, but that is about the only thing that gives away his ... sudden problem.

"Oh, well, if you're not interested..."

"When did I say that?" he answers with a soft, purring tone as he ducks in to press a kiss just below Lawrence's jaw.

He sighs, tilting his head just a little in hopes of coaxing another kiss from Nick.
