Aubrey's still playing the young boy. Sort of. He still looks like the young boy. Whether his actions could portray young, might depend on what century you are dealing with.
His actions account for the fact that two tables have been dragged together, and there are little metal figurines on the table tops. Ones painted in red uniforms on one table, and ones in black on the other. The whole scene is very 'general preparing for battle'. Just something to keep him entertained, really.
