Námo had called to her last night.

He'd told her what had happened.

Now there is a red-eyed Elf curled up on a sofa, her grey gaze searching every passing person for a hint of where her son has been whisked off to.

nerdanel, shufti, asar-suti

"Nerdanel?"

There was somebody slightly purple coming up to her.

And she is in his arms, crying all over again.

Mumbling... something... about Feaho.

"Nerdanel," he murmured, throwing his arms around her and hugging her close, "my dear Nerdanel, my friend, my lovely Red - what about Feahelce?"

"Melkor traded him to some bar patron!" she cries at him, both angry and desperate. "Mandos tried to make him tell him who, but Melkor refused. And because Mandos beat him, Faramir locked him into the cells."

Asar-Suti held her close.

"Traded him - what for?" he asked, trying to make sense of things at the first juncture he got at. "And Faramir of Gondor locked one of the Valar in the cells? Milliways Security really is the strongest force in the multiverse, then."

She shakes her head against his shoulder.

"He wouldn't say what he traded him for, and Mandos went willingly. He didn't fight Faramir over it."

He could have.

And would have probably won.

But... Mandos possessed honour.

"Morgoth should be in that cell, not Námo," Asar-Suti said, very grimly. "And he should be fed - I don't know, blessed water or godfire or veritaserum by force until he tells all!"

Asar-Suti was ever in favour of doing whatever necessary to an enemy.

She siffles some more.

"Mandos said according to Faramir, Morgoth hadn't broken any of the bar rules that Security enforced. But he did by beating Morgoth."

"Selling other people's children must certainly be against the rules," Asar-Suti said. "One of them is 'no business', after all!"

Again, she shakes her head.

"No business means no outside grudges. Everyone can buy and sell here, that's why Lily can have her brothel and not be in violation of the rules." Nerdanel sags against him. "And Morgoth didn't do it out of a grudge... he did it because he's cruel and immoral!"

"Do we have to prove his motive before Security will help with recovering an abducted child?" Asar-Suti said, very grimly.

Nerdanel shrugs her shoulders.

"I don't know. I don't know what their doing, if anything."

Asar-Suti held her tightly.

"If Barry was still on security, I'd talk to him - I'll try and find somebody," he promised.

She nods, still clinging, and so very tired.

"He's just a baby, Sooty... what am I supposed to do?"

"I will ask people," he said again. "And, odd as it sounds, I don't think he's in immediate danger - if you steal a child, you normally do it out of some agenda, and in most cases, that means keeping the cild alive. At least that's what I taught my Ihlini. It's logical. We'll get him back in a day or two - Gorlim will help, all the other people of our 'extended family'. Maglor, too. He is old and wily."

Nerdanel nods.

"Gorlim doesn't even know yet. Mandos won't tell him."
