Parrot, zooming all over the bar at high velocity. She's not being especially destructive tonight, but she is rather more hyper than usual - after the events of two nights ago, she's stuffed back in a body that still feels a bit too small.

Despite the ADD, it's probably possible to flag her down.

Cordelia isn't flagging her down, but that's mostly because she hasn't noticed her yet. She's only just entered, and is standing just inside the doorway, looking about a little tensely.

...Hey, there's the lady she was looking for the other night.

Peach does a fancy aerial maneuver that looks like braking to a sudden halt in midair, just in front of Cordelia's face, and drops onto a chair next to her.

Cordelia starts slightly, but recovers and nods to the bird in greeting.

"Hello, Picchu. Any news?"

That gets a squawk of laughter.

You'd think people would notice a giant freaking hurricane of darkness raging outside the bar. Mortals.

"You haven't heard?"

Her gaze sharpens. "I haven't been here since we last talked. What's happened?"

Cheerfully: "Blodwen got herself neutered. No more power."

"...She what?"

Cordelia stares, a little.

"Deliberately?"

[winged_defender]

"No, of course not. Dumb enough to figure nobody could do it, probably."

Cordelia sits down.

She has the feeling she's going to need to.

"Who did it?"

[winged_defender]

"You know Raven?" she asks. "Colleague of mine, sorta."

"I don't think we've met, no."

[winged_defender]

"Earth mythology, you can look him up if you haven't heard of him. Anyway, she'd been fucking with him a while."

[veryvorkosigan]

A brief eyebrow-raise. "In the literal or figurative sense?"

...Peach looks really amused, just for a moment.

After a brief pause she forces herself to say, "Figurative. Anyway, she went after some friend of his or something the other night, and he ripped the Dark out of her, pretty much."

"...I didn't know that was even possible."

She frowns.

"Certainly Blodwen didn't seem to think it was."

"It's Milliways." She shrugs. "Not a good idea to count on anything being impossible."
