The Doctor is very sensitive to such vibes and looks down at the cat with a raised eyebrow.

"Are you going to tell me how you take your tea, or am I to guess?"

"Of course. Should have guessed," he says with a bit of a grin.

He prepares a cup of the tea with cream, then tips the contents into a saucer and sets it across the table.

"You're welcome up here, if you like."

A cold breeze whispers through the room, and behind it a white shadow slips through the lake door and starts for the stairs.

Evidently Blodwen is not feeling particularly sociable tonight, or at least not yet.

"Sure you won't stay for tea?" the Doctor asks over his shoulder when he feels the familiar breeze blowing through the door. He's got the sense of her now after having had her powers directed at him a couple of times.

The shadow pauses, and almost seems to shimmer-- and then Blodwen looks at him, clearly visible and smiling with evident amusement.

Ice-blue eyes are cold, but her voice is warm.

"And is it that you are inviting me to join you then, dear?"
