Kevin emerges from the infirmary at this moment, completely by chance, but his attention is instantly caught by the panicked note in Melehan's voice, and all fatigue vanishes.

He arrives at a run.

"Mel, Mel." Melehan is holding Melou's hand tightly, dark eyes not leaving his face. Not until he hears Kevin, and then he looks up.

[dragon_twin]

Melou, understandably, doesn't really know what's going on. He only remembers pain from out of nowhere and then nothing.

But he can hear his brother's voice.

"Mele?"

"I'm here, not going anywhere."
