There is a tiny nymph tucked into the furthest corner of a booth - long legs curled under her, nose scrunched in concentration, and a copy of a certain play in her hands. The pages turn slowly - very, very slowly - because there are far more words on them than Lethe can honestly say that she’s accustomed to.

That isn't going to last for long. Not from the way the pixie girl is glaring at her.

Except...it's not really glaring. Judging, figuring things out. She's got her emo mug of coffee.

If her shoulders seem to tense - if her head ducks the slightest bit - well, that would have to be Kaye's imagination.

Because the page might be turning soon. Really - just as soon as she can focus on the words, get them to make sense.

Kaye does have a wonderful imagination. But this time it was real and being noble, she tries to ignore the twinge of satisfaction that brings.

Lethe blinks slowly - careful and considering - and her eyes unfocus from the blurry words and rise. She is far more accustomed to anger than to kindness anyhow.

"I am sorry," her voice remains quiet, subdued. "I did not mean to upset you. It w-was - it was just unfair if you did not know."
