Her smile broadened and she practically bounced into a chair. It was quite amusing in fact, to see her backtrack, shrug her shoulders and attempt to be less cheerful.
"You know...good. Really good." She peered at him. "You?"
"Old man." Thea laughed softly. She could dwell on the fact that she was stuck here, while others were living the life she once had. Thea didn't dwell. Logan was worse off than her right now.
"That's me, I'm ancient," he says lightly. "And sad? I don't know. Things aren't going my way right now. I don't have a clue what I'm going to do after high school, and that sucks."
"Mean," he says, wrinkling his nose. "I'm stil young and virile."
He thinks. "Maybe, but it seems like everyone's got plans. Even my friend Dick, who isn't graduating, is going to summer school. And I'm just...drifting."
Anyway, she was certainly glad to see him. It had been too long.
"Logan!" Thea threw her arms around him, a warm hug that was gone before it could become suspicious.
[OOC: I only have an hour, but Thea wouldn't stop whining.]

Logan barely had time to hug her back before she pulled away. "Hi, Thea," he says, managing a smile. "How're you?"
((OOC: Hee! It's fine. YAY Thea))

"You looked a little sad."

"I don't think anyone really knows what they want to do. You just have to jump into something and see if you fit."
Sensible. Thea could usually be counted on for that much.

Beat.
"See. You're perfect for a professional drifter."
And if her attempt at humour falls flat, she always has wisdom.

"You know I can't read your mind. Or I'd be a lot less innocent and much less approving of you."
She didn't want to try and read his mind. Because her powers had been weird and...accidently exploding Logans brain would not cheer him up.

"Hey, you know," She turned her head back; brown eyes serious, "I wanted to thank you."

Pause. "Um. Okay. What did I do this time?"
Because usually thanks is not the response he gets.
