Getting up early, Cain slipped downstairs earlier, leaving a note for Molly and settling at a booth to watch the crowd. he is still unused to, and uncomfortably with, the large number of people that are always here, but he wants to try to get more used to it.
So, Cain, beer, booth, pensive expression.

"Wow, what's with the expression?" she pokes cheerfully waving down a wait-rat.

"Ah, hello? And I am just thinking."
To himn, they are very nearly strangers. He eyes her.

"Yeah. About what?" she may have picked up on the distanceness but if so no one could tell by her tone or body language.

"So why is it that you seem so pensive about being out here?" blunt and personal yes but that's the way she is sometimes.

"Do you always ask personal questions of people you dont know that well?"

He sighs.
"But dont assume I am just going to be the same as I was. That isnt fair to me."
He glances around.
"If you must know, I am not used to crowdw yet."

"Anytime." she smiles at him meaning it, "Is there anything that you want to know that I might be able to answer?"
