Raina's sprawled lazily out on a couch. She's watching the bar, especially anyone that looks interesting. If it isn't enough that she's watching you, she's also got a bowl of popcorn.

Her mood isn't to light, so it's poke at own risk tonight.

He drops onto the arm of the couch,

"You're pissed."

The bowl of popcorn is offered up to him, and her head tilts back so it rests a little in his lap.

"Unfriendly conversations with Pack mates will do that to me. How are you, my dear?"

"You know how it is. Another month, another fucking family member expecting me to be all 'Oh, spiffy, its my dear aunty!'."

He could be more disgusted, but he'd have to work at it,

"She called me honey, and was patronizing about the fact that I don't let anyone but you give me that sort of names."

There's a spark of interest at the prospect of another family member to meet.

"No offense, but your family keeps making my Pack look close and happy."

Which might just be saying something.

"Is this one crazy too?"

"She started by patronizing, she continued by patronizing. What do you think, hotstuff? Am I the kind of guy who looks like he'd put up with that?"

He reaches down to grab Raina by the jaw and force her head back until she has to look into those green eyes of his.

Actually, from the look in them, Random is no longer Martin's least favorite relative. Martin is pissed.

The fact that he has to work a little to move her head is both because it's more fun, and because she's not feeling very cooperative.

"Not really. No."

He might notice that despite the spark of curiosity, her eyes look like amber ice.

"Doesn't answer the question of whether she's crazy though."
After all, how else is she to know whether this aunt would be as fun to piss off as Julian.

"Don't know, don't care."

He's in a mood where the mood not to be cooperative is just fine by him,

"Do you want to talk about your issue, or do you want to go get violent and bloody and then consider talking?"

He's not even suggesting sex, right now. Just the two of them going out and pounding on each other.

The bowl of popcorn is dropped, gracefully, onto the floor. She swings her legs over the back of the couch, but doesn't move her head.

"Violent and bloody sound fun to me."

There's a fine tremor of something. It speaks of anger, violence, and a little hate.

"Violent and bloody it is."

He takes her hand in his, just exactly as though they were going to a court dance, and helps her up,

"Woods?"

She gives a small smile, and it is very dark around the edges. Once on her feet, she gives a rough tug to his arm.

"Woods."
