He's Afraid that something else would happen. Perhaps this place isn't as wholesome and family friendly as he thought

"You know, I have a cousin who's probably your age," Jaina says softly from her booth. She picks up a honeywafer from her plate and dips it in her mug of caf.

It's not that bad a combination.

"He comes here often. A Ben Skywalker?"

Robbie thinks about this for a moment, "Does he like Chocolate Milkshakes? If so I think I might have seen him."

He smiles, she seems like a nice lady-however nervous he might be.

"It's sweet and his mother probably would disapprove of him having too many." She nods, grinning gently at him. "That would be our cousin."

Jaina takes a bite of the honeywafer in her hand before continuing. "I'm Jaina."

Robbie's staring at the wafer, but he shakes it off, smiling and offering her a hand, "Robbie. Robbie Preston."

He holds out a hand, "-I'm Robbie. Robbie Preston."

He had a difficult time making friends, but he's a genuinely friendly kid.

Jaina shakes his hand, chuckling softly to herself.

She doesn't have that much experience with kids, aside from a handful of days spent helping at the Academy in her life. But if Jaina's going to start spending more time teaching the children there she might as well start somewhere.

"Well, Robbie Preston, would you like a honeywafer?"

"What's a honeywafer?" Robbie stares blatently at her, "-is it a cookie?"

He's studying her with the aire of a scientist.

"A Corellian cookie," she replies, floating the plate to her lap with the Force. "Dad used to get them for us when I was a kid. They're some of my favorites.

"Would you like to try one?"

Robbie just kind of-stares.

Floating. Plate. Plates don't float.

"....sure."

Robbie grins brightly-a bit uncharacteristically. He's just a little bit spooked.

To Jaina, it's every day normal. But she notices the stare and makes a point to hold the plate tightly in her hands instead.

"Take it you've never seen a Jedi before, eh?"

[jusa_littlelion]

"That's what Ben said he was." Robbie murmured, "-I sort of figured you guys were like Clerics-secret police."

And the Mun has an image of Jedi being secret police in some dystopia somewhere and dies because-isn't that who Darth Vader Technically was?

But that's another world and another time.

"-That's a really neat trick though."

She shakes her head. "I don't know what a Cleric is. But we're not secret police."

And the mun giggles at the idea of Jedi being secret police in a dystopia.

Jaina gives him a genuine smile. It's been a long while since someone thought levitating a plate was a 'neat trick'. "Thank you."

Robbie nods, "You're welcome."

He probably assumes it's a magic trick.

"-Is it hard?"

Seems like the next logical step.

"Not anymore. It's something we've been doing all our life. Force-sensitivity is common in my family."

Jaina pauses for a second, shaking her head when she realizes Robbie probably wouldn't have much clue what she was talking about.

"Did Ben mention any of this to you?"
