"I'm nobody's comrade, and you're definitely not Snowball who is allowed," Asar-Suti said. "You are a - communist? Your kind of communists doesn't wear clothes, then?"
"It is your voice - I am sorry, Snowball! Of course you call me 'comrade' - I'm just not everybody's comrade here. And communists were - are - a political movement on Earth that started out thinking everbody should be equal, and that ended up with almost everybody being equally unhappy."
"You have been shape-shifted," Asar-Suti said, "and for the first time - that makes you woozy! I'll find you some blanket, and then get you somewhere else?"
He gets up and crawls clumsily over to where Asar-Suti is sitting, his feet getting in the way.
"I have lost my home and my family, everything back home that I grew up with and loved. My non-material culture, no clothes, no blankets, is the only piece of my former life I have left to cling to. I have been humiliated beyond all belief. Please don't make me go further."
"I've even seen a fighter plane learning to walk," Asar-Suti said. "Then you can as well. Trotters are much more like human feet than an aircraft's undercarriage."
