Well, well, well. Look who's gone and gotten himself an entrance post.
Wash has also gotten himself an oversized mug of coffee and, for the first time in quite a while, a copy of The New York Times. Hey, keeping up with the news of a planet long-dead: all the cool kids are doing it.
He's ensconsed himself in a booth with a clear view of the entire bar, attention evenly divided between the Technology section -- twenty-first century tech's almost endearing, in a really hysterical kind of way -- and Milliways at large. And despite the quiet uneasiness, he's looking more relaxed than he has in a month.
Good weekends, with birthdays included, tend to do that.
