"Oh, okay," Ray says. "I haven't had the chance to go to my room and see if I left myself any briefing letters yet. Have you got a name I'm supposed to be using?"
"Our paths really don't cross very often," Ray says apologetically. "I sort of wish they did. He runs across a lot more interesting stuff than I do sometimes. When you say Magic-"
Ray stares at the result, eyes wide. "I ought to warn Egon about that the next time I see him," he murmurs. "That could get ugly really quickly. I don't think I've ever met anybody who could make it overload that fast, unless you want to count that Ragnarok parchment."
"Wow," Ray says. "Okay, that explains a lot. Most gods don't set the meter off that quickly because a lot of their power is tied up in their manifestation, which is the only reason Egon still has both hands and his face after taking a reading on Cthulhu. Not that I was there for that. But being the direct conduit for an entire world's energies- that's really pretty cool. How did that happen?"
"Welcome back, Dr. Stantz"

"Pretty well. He went to bat for me, once, long ago. And, it's just Tim. Mister Hunter is my adoptive father."

"Not as much of a geek then? Ah, I'm Magic."

He reaches for the PKE meter.

"Go for it."
He remembers what happened to the last one, so a containment spell is at the ready.

"Ooooooohboy."
Did we mention the lack of a dampener switch on this model of meter?

No lake this time.
"Yeh, that happened last time too."
