It's a rare entrance post, documenting a rareolder MacManus twin in the bar. With a slice of bread and a glass of tea, sitting near the fire, wearing a sweater that kind of takes away from the fact he's lost so much weight. He's friendly enough, so stop by and say hello.

He looks familiar. Strangely familiar. I probably have never met him in my life, but the fact is, he looks familiar. Maybe, it's deja vu.

"Cold?"

Sure, it's weird coming from a complete stranger, but I'm just strange in general. So, whatever.

Connor looks up with a smile. "Was." He nods. "Nice day."

"Yeah, it was alright. New York weather is different than everywhere else."

(ooc:sorry for major delay)

"I've been here all day." Nearly a year, if his memory was working properly.

[OOC: No worries!]

"Ah, sorry. I haven't, which causes such confusion."

"You come and go?" COnnor asked. He knew people who could of course. He hadn't even seen the dorr since he dropped into Milliways so many months ago.

"Yeah, probably too often. I think this place likes to mess with the anti-social. Force us to communicate."

I smile a little.

"Or hide in our rooms." He waves his hand toward the stairs. That's what he likes to do, anyway. Sometimes, a little socialization isn't so bad. Especially when he gets to talk to a pretty girl.

"Well, see, no wonder she's pissed off. We try to avoid social situations, the bar plops us here, and we still avoid them.....like the plague. Unless, I'm in a good mood, or facinated. Rooms are good though. My whole apartment is books and music and I love it."

I pause for a second, my smile, as small as it is, still remains.

"I'm rambling, ain't I."

My head goes down with a growing smile.

"I don't mind." Connor says softly. "It's nice. I don't, ya know, talk to many people. So, it's nice." And bonus points that she isn't trying to shove food down his thoat.

"Talk to me. One of the same. What's your room like? What keeps you occupied? Anything."

"Language. I have a love and fascination with words. I speak several languages fluently, others I know words, phrases." There's also the guns and killing of scum, but she doesn't need to know all that. Words are a safer topic.

Actually, she's met someone of a similar profession and as long as the people are bad, she just thinks of it as forceful karma.

I like that. Languages, languages are sexy. Especially Italian and French. Languages are almost as sexy as a man's wrists. Don't ask: it's a weird attraction thing, I know.

"I'm very good at French, but when I try other languages, unfortunetly I fail miserably. What languages do you speak?"

saint_veritas April 11 2006, 02:48:39 UTC
"Fluently, Latin, Irish Gaelic, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Italian. I've learnt some Japanese, Chinese, Portugese, Hindi, somce Scottish Gaelic but obviously Irish was my focus."

[OOC: I've got about 15 minutes till I crash, SP okay till tomorrow?]

Oh my, the man's a walking translator. Points for that. Now, for the wrists. Perhaps I shouldn't stare. It's a little weird in the first place, but with the staring, it's a little creepy too. So, don't stare.

Stop looking.

"That's really interesting. Guess you never get lost in foreign countries."

Stop looking. I do, eventually and can't help but scratch my neck in neviousness for some reason.

(ooc: sure!)

He's a bit cocky about his language skills, too. But then, he was fed the words from the moment his ma knew he existed. And if he's noticed her looking at his arms, he hasn't noticed. It just happens that one of the sleeves has worked itself part way up his arm. His wrists are thin, he's lost too much weight.

"Comes in handy in crowds too." He smiles an impish trademark Connor smile.

[Thanks! Night!]
