She's been sleeping in a booth for nearly a week now.

So now she's finally up at the bar, asking for a room key. She's staring mournfully at where the door is/should be...

It'll be a while before Max heads to her room, though. At least until she finishes her butterbeer.

She could use some company until then.

The Last Czarnian comes from upstairs, to the bar. Ordering an ale; the extremely late breakfast of scourges of the universe. He nods to the girl.

Max blinks at the man, a little shocked at his appearance but trying not to be rude.

She gives what she feels is a polite wave in return.

His nostrils flare, and he looks her over. "New 'ere?"

"Er... Fairly."

She sips her drink, using it as an excuse to not make eye contact.

"And stuck too?" He grins...

[sky_high_max]

Well she is holding a room key... She readjusts her grip to be sure the room number isn't showing.

"Unfortunately so."

Lobo chuckles. "Doncha worry. When you stop looking for it, the door will appear." He offers a big strong hand. "Lobo."

"I tried not looking for a few days... it still didn't show up."

She takes his hand, still a little uneasy but trying her best to be friendly.

"Max."

"Yer still thinking about it." He shakes her hand. "Doncha worry, I don't bite. Often."

"Ah, sorta like I don't clothesline people with my wings until I have to."

She grins a bit. One joking threat for another.

Lobo can not help but laugh. "Serious girl, calm down. Yer lucky, this is the one place in the universe where I behave. Mostly." Lobo winks, smiles, he does have tons of that 'bad boy' charm. Forget the fact that he is naturally creepy.

What can she say? She's a nervous bird by nature. Literally.

"Oh, no harm meant, don't worry."

Her grin's a little shakey still, but more out of her general mood than fear at this point.

"Yer from earth, like most people 'ere?"

"Last I checked."

"Lots of people from there. Mind you, not the same earth..."
