The sudden thump of a Raven dropping into the seat next to him is, perhaps, not helpful with the nerves.

"That, and to put cookie crumbs in your hair, perhaps."

Raven blinks at him.

"You would prefer puppies, instead?"

Maybe.

Raven looks thoughtful.

"Geckos are also acceptable?"

Maybe.

Convenient how there is now one attempting to reach Thom's shoulder.

Blame Raven's pockets.

*Thom twists to look at it and, well.

His eyes go huge.*

Possibly the gecko's eyes are bigger.

Raven watches them both, head tilted, eyes bright.

"You are friends already, perhaps?"

The gecko's tongue flicks out.

It looks hungry.

Raven beams.

"It is a good thing to see, I think."

He nudges the gecko, who crawls a little faster.

Or a lot faster, as the case may be.

*That does it.

Thom screams and crashes backwards out of his chair.*

The gecko startles, tiny legs moving faster.

It might be tangling itself in Thom's hair.

Raven, meanwhile, peers over at Thom.

"You are broken, perhaps?"

Never yet.

*He's still lying there, though. Fucking gecko.*

The gecko cautiously settles down in Thom's hair. It's a very comfortable spot.

Raven continues to not laugh.

"It is not so bad a thing, perhaps."

*Thom raises a hand to his head and, cautiously, brushes his fingers against the gecko.*
