Peter's not been here in a while.

He's been spending a lot of time in the House of Arch with his family and Caspian, but tonight he was feeling restless, and so here he is, in a booth, with dinner and a pint of dwarven beer.

Another pint lands on the table, and Caspian slides into the seat across from him, smiling broadly.

"I see you've decided to grace us with your presence this evening. Hallo, Peter! It's good to see you out and about."

Peter grins back.

"Indeed I have, Caspian. I was feeling a bit restless, so here I am. Anything interesting going on tonight?"

"Not that I can tell, although there seems to have been a few outbursts of random song," Caspian says, and settles back into the booth seat comfortably.

"It's been rather quiet--but then, I've been spending most of my time in the stables or in the House, you know. I may not be the best to ask."

"I assume if there's anything particularly important going on, it will find us," Peter says, shrugging. "It generally seems to do that."

"It seems to be how things mainly occur, here," Caspian agrees, mildly. "I am thankful that the winter is almost over, however--and so are all of the horses. They're quite ready to be out of their stalls, I think."

"I know Duncan smells spring coming," Peter says, nodding. "He's been far more restless than usual, lately."

Caspian nods back.

"Fortunately, we've enough employees to properly exercise all of the horses," he says, "even those with owners who aren't around often enough to exercise them themselves."

Peter kicks Caspian under the table.

"Are you trying to make me feel guilty? Because I come and exercise Duncan at least four times a week, and usually more. It shan't work."

"Never, my lord," says Caspian, who would look hurt if he weren't laughing.

"That would be a terrible, and untrue, insinuation to make."

"Insulting one's king," Peter grumbles. "I may have to have your head cut off."
