Wendy sits on the floor, leaning against a booth nearby the door.
Another little kid...jeez. You would think there enough of them. I don't look up at him, I can tell by the high pitched voice. So, yeah. I don't pause for more than a second before inhaling again.
"I doubt you'll find him."
Exhale. I have no idea who the guy is, I just know that looking for one person in this place is impossible because there's tons of freaks here, including myself.
He blinks, because a lady didn't smoke or if she did so indulge, did so in the privacy of her rooms... and neither did she dress as this young woman was dressed.
"Ma'am," he fumbles somewhat, bowing a little awkwardly. It was usually he who forgot introductions, forgot manners, but her lack of them seemed almost to prompt them in him if only because he was lost and confused.
So, the kid seemed a little off already, why mess him up completely? Since when is it kosher to randomly visit a bar at the end of the universe? I won't freak him out too much. I'll go for the obvious.
"You're in a bar."
Cigarette hits my fingers, burning me for a moment. Slight look of pain crosses my face for a moment before I drop it in the ash pile and crush it with my ring.
His expression quirks somewhat but he holds his tongue for the moment. He might have had a smart remark in return were he not so confused, but at the moment, he's willing to keep his words to himself.
I pull out the pack from the pocket on my skirt, along with my lighter. It never dies, bout' the only good gift Neil ever gave me. I pause for a second, a little dazed off.

And he's somewhat flustered. He's not used to being the least polite person in a conversation. George was one thing, but this was quite another.
