Raina is eying the book more than Random himself. Though it's an idle, I have nothing better to do eying.

It's an interesting book.

Doesn't say much though.

So eventually Random puts it down and looks around for a waitrat, then smiles when he sees company instead.

She gives a smile as she settles across from him.

"Any particular reason for reading on that subject?"

"It's interesting. In its own way."

He stretches, and yawns.

"I'm not here long, but hello anyways."

She gives the book another eying, like she doesn't believe it.

"Hello." She gives a small amused tilt of her head. "Just in for the good food?"

"Mostly. I need to pick up a few things from the room upstairs, and then some groceries. Thought I'd stop and rest for a bit. Hope a friend went by."

Although the food is good.

"Ahh. Do I count as a friend, or do you have a specific person in mind?"

"You count as a friend."

Though there are people to look for too.

"Of course. How're you?"

She gives a bright smile. "So glad." The words might have the slightest under current of doubt, but it's as buried as she can get it.

"I'm well. Meeting new people all the time which is always interesting. You and baby Martin are well?"

"Yes. Doing wonderfully. Growing like a weed and eating twice his own bodyweight."

Of course. It's Martin.

"That's good." There's a small chuckle. "Only twice his body weight?"

"Only that, yes."

He grins, of course, and affectionately.

"Very quiet young man. Sleeps a lot, too."

She gives a bright grin.

"All traits he keeps grown up." Because she saw Martin after he'd slept for a week, and if that's not a lot well, she doesn't want to know about longer.

"Oh. I met Ramon the other day." She gives a tilt of her head. "He's...interesting."

"Did you now?"

He grins, affectionately.

"Did you hate him?"

She nods and bites her lip in thought a moment.

"There was a small point in our conversation where I thought I would, but no. He's fun to talk to."

"He just doesn't really care what anyone thinks. Anyone. Ever."

It gets interesting, really.

"I'm glad, though. I, obviously, do like him."
