Arthur hasn't been sleeping well lately. Which is why he's curled up in a booth with Kenna at his feet, using his bundled-up dressing gown as a makeshift pillow.

Now that's a new one. Joanne, thanks to the wonder that is Millitime is around the bar. Doing something. She eyes him, then walks over, for God only knows what reason. "Sir, do you need money for a room or something? Or at least a cup of tea?"

He opens an eye, realizing that someone's talking to him.

"No, I'm fine, thanks."

"Oh, well, sorry to have disturbed you." She really has been hanging around Mark too long. She's picked up his tendancy of late to throw money at people. "I'm Joanne, by the way."

"Arthur Dent."

And then it clicks.

"You wouldn't happen to know Mark Cohen, would you?"

Arthur Dent. Well -that- clicks. Certainly someone she probably should have expected to see in Milliways. And somehow, the fact that he knows Mark is almost fitting. But that's another story.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Arthur. I know Mark quite well, actually. I work for his production company as their lawyer. And, well, he's one of my closest friends." She smiles. "I'm assuming he's a friend of yours here."

"One of many. He was one of the first, though."

Ah, the joys of being Socially Awkward.

Joanne's known Mark for almost two years now. She understands socially awkward. She smiles, however. "When he's not flailing about things, he's a attractive person. He makes more friends than he realizes, I think."

Arthur shakes his head.

"I don't think he thinks he deserves the good things that have happened to him."

"Oh, I know he doesn't think so. He works harder than he realizes, though, and he's good at what he does." She shrugs. "That's Mark for you, though."

"He's too modest for his own good."

Joanne sighs. "He really is. He really would do better if he saw how good he was at things."

He sits up, nodding.

"I'm sorry, I'm being rude. Can I get you anything?"
