"Hullo, Su," he replies, with no small amount of concern. "The evening's been fine on this end, but I do hope you'll forgive me if I say it doesn't quite look as though it has for you."
The concern is rather failing to fade quickly away.
"I'm hardly going to not mind you, Su," he protests, waving her towards one of the barstools. "Have a seat, at least, and let me get you something to drink."
"If you say so, Su, then I'll believe you. And I've been fine, or at least as well as can be expected when I've slightly less than five weeks until the wedding."
"Oh, I'm sure we do," he says, almost glumly. "I've no idea what's going on, really. I'm still trying to get her a decent ring, and I haven't even remembered to ask her if she's already got them planned out."
"I've no idea," he says, rather glumly. "I mean-- I'm sure there are plenty of people here in the bar, I believe I've met the angel who married Bernard and Tonks, but I suppose it depends on what Kitty wants."

So the wine is fetched, and poured, and he still looks rather worried really as he sets the bottle down and studies her.

"Edmund, I'm fine. I just had an off day, is all. How are you?"

"... but technically I've not actually got the faintest idea who's officiating."

Yeah, he's pretty well whipped.
Doesn't seem to mind, so much.

"Well, perhaps she has more done than you think."

"Should... would you like it, then, if I asked her if there's something you could do to help?" he asks a moment later, somewhat hesitantly.
