Estsanatlehi was leaning against the railing, watching the universe end. She was currently grandmother-aged, and didn't have any chicks with her, at least, not visibly. She did however still have a green duck siting on her shoulder like some bizarre pirate's parrot.
Adric was around, with his apron and a dragon trundling along behind. The dragon had a wagon, and it was quite fond of the wagon, mostly because the wagon contained a smallish box of mostly-clockwork critters, all currently living just like itself, but also a stack of plates that had been collected, and a small basket for silverware. It was being Helpful.
The box had a sign on it: "Free to a good home, just ask"
Clive had had a good day, and as such was perched in a booth, backwards, with his camera propped up on the back, filming, he had leftovers on the table, and a half-finished caramel-marshmallow milkshake that he was still working on off and on, sitting next to his hat, which he'd taken off for the time being.
Sarah was off over by the fire, relaxing, she had a book, though she wasn't reading it at the moment, and she had a mug of cider, which was holding more of her attention. She was barefoot, her pufferfish slippers on the floor in front of the chair. There was also a plate of pecan tassies on the table next to her chair, but they were basically unattended and just right for stealing.
Jane Smith was over in a booth with sushi, half-eating and half-watching the evening crowd. She's got more than enough to share, and probably will if you ask nicely. She figured the platter was Bar's way of telling her she needed to talk to people more, and would help by bribing them with food.
The Twins were once again working on a jigsaw puzzle. Bar, it seemed, wanted to keep them out of trouble by keeping them entertained. This was one of the super hard ones that was round, divided into quarters, two white two black, but every peice was white on one side and black on the other. And there were no visible edge pieces. And there were seven extra pieces besides. For once they were more absorbed in it than in peoplewatching
