There's a skull sitting on a table. It has eyes. Sometimes these eyes move.

Maybe they move when you pass by. This is more likely if you're a woman, though something decidedly inhuman will get a glance no matter the gender.

But it's a skull. Sitting on a table. Looking. It might be up for talking if you come say hi.

The thought amuses her so she asks bar for something and it appears. She holds it behind her back until she gets to his table. Once she has done so she holds the green object over his skull.

The green object just might be mistletoe. One good turn deserves another right?

The skull tilts backward to look at the object above his head. He clicks his teeth together excitedly when he sees it.

Then he bursts up into the air and, checking his speed, presses his teeth against Amanda's cheek, making an exaggerated "mwaah!" kissing noise.

Amanda laughs and puts down the mistletoe, "How are you doing today?" she takes an univited seat at his booth.

"I just woke up, actually. But this was a good start, chit, a real good start."

He now moves to the seat opposite, hovering. Bobbing up and down slightly every few seconds.

"And you?"

"Yeah. Um, it musta slipped my mind: you come from where, again? ...Earth?" he guesses, since that's where everyone he's met recently has been from.

At the compliment, Morte floats a bit higher in the air, rapidly clicking his teeth. "Would that every chit I met said the same thing."

"Yes Earth. Currently residing in Paris, France. The city of Love." she says with a very french accent.

Again a laugh, "If only." Amanda agree's. But really it's hard to find someone as carefree andplayful as Amanda. Especially when she is in a good mood.

"Talking, meeting more berks and bashers, using alliteration - all my favourite pasttimes."

"Sounds interesting enough. Have you learned anything new?"

Reply

floating_skull January 31 2006, 16:35:18 UTC
"Well," Morte says after a moment, "I have learned that many seem to come from the Prime Material Planes. Unusual, since even Sigil doesn't get that many from those places. Prime Materials don't have portals to other Planes.

"Then again, nobody I've seen comes through the door with the standard 'glowing blue portal light' anyways.

"So I'm figuring...maybe the Planes needed a place where rules, such as they are, don't apply. Like Limbo, or one other of 'em freaky Planes."

Amanda smiles, "It sounds like you are figuring this place at. Certainaly you've made better progress then I."

Maybe because she isn't trying to figure the place out just enjoy it for what it is.
