"Oh, I've been fine," she says, putting down the book with a smile. "The twins have kept me busy, and so has school, but there's a snowstorm in Avonlea today and little work to do. It's lovely to to see you, too! How have you been?"
"For the most part, quite well. Busy. Meg and I had a party yesterday, in the kitchen, which was a great deal of fun and I'm ever so sorry you missed it, even if cleaning up took ages."
"Oh, I am sorry! That would have been great fun. I haven't seen Meg since Christmas, and I do miss her. And Gilbert is very well, although he's had to spend most of his time in White Sands."
"It was to keep us from cooking," says Amy. "Meg and I are ever so hopeless at it, I'm afraid. And it made a handy excuse to have a party. And after . . . well, Meg and I thought this place needed a party."
"A party is always an excellent idea," Anne says, firmly. "But, really, Amy, you aren't completely hopeless. We made a nice pie before, didn't we? And surely you learned something about coooking, working as a kitchen maid."
"Well," Anne laughs, "I can't see how I can argue with that, although I wonder what Marilla would make of it. All right. Besides the party, how has everything been?"
"Well, yes, well enough. It's just . . . I miss my parents, Anne, and I miss Phantasmorania, but if I go home I'm just the princess they can't find a husband for.
"And if I stay in Ambergeldar . . . well . . . Perry knows who I am. And that's not necessarily bad, but it could make things awkward."
[OOC: Because I hate trying to guess where conversations are going to end, I'd like to Millitime the latest OOM to whenever we have time to finish it, and hasn't happened yet. Any objections?]
"Oh, Amy, I'm so sorry. Of course, you're right. Well, there must be a way to set it all to rights again, mustn't there? Perhaps Perry could help you with it all. Is there anyway you could go to see your parents without them trying to marry you off again?"
[OOC: Please. I should have time tonight for that.]
"Anne!"

...Alright, dusty old poets are probably not as attention-grabbing as Amy.
Anne looks up with a smile, and waves.
"Amy! Hello!"

"Anne, it is so wonderful to see you again. How have you been?"

Amy sits down and gives Anne a very bright smile.
"And how is Gilbert?"

It will not be a Keep Us From Riding Party in the stables. That has been deemed a Bad Idea.

"I'm sure there will be," she smiles. "How on earth did you throw a party in the kitchen? And why?"

It's Amy logic. And it's not entirely inaccurate.
"Besides, you did the hard parts of the pie."

"Well," Anne laughs, "I can't see how I can argue with that, although I wonder what Marilla would make of it. All right. Besides the party, how has everything been?"

"Mostly good. I've met some new people, there have been some lovely snowball fights, and lots and lots of tea."
A moment.
"A little homesick, maybe, but then, going home has its set of problems, too."
Reply
"Why, what do you mean? What sort of problems? You like being a kitchen maid, don't you?"

"And if I stay in Ambergeldar . . . well . . . Perry knows who I am. And that's not necessarily bad, but it could make things awkward."
