Celebrían is seated near a fireplace, slowly paging her way through a book.

Though she did not share her husband's love of lore, she was endlessly fascinated by the differences between worlds. It was a book young Sara had lent and she was greatly enjoying it.

She would not be opposed to company, both old and new.

Perhaps the song being sung over by the couch, not too far away, is familiar - one of the many songs to Elbereth, sung in a distracted tone. There's Glorfindel, his hands cupped around a flagon of hot mulled wine, watching the fire.

Elvish reflexes prevent the wine from being spilled, but only just. He stares at her, speechless, blue eyes wide.

It is quite clear.

The Valar? Hate him.

She isn't surprised by his reaction. Indeed, Elrond had dropped a glass when he had first seen her.

Millennia-odd separations truly are a pain.
