Bernard is in the bar.

At the usual table.

So tired.

So, so tired.

The kid's a doll, but he doesn't sleep more than two hours at a time.

His mun couldn't quite get things done early enough to do a tending post.

His mun also has to go to bed early-ish, so. Be aware. :D

Helen, seeing Bernard, comes over, smiling warmly. "Bernard! This may be a bit late, but congratulations!"

Helen smiles brightly back. "Also, thank you for the Christmas Basket!" She beams. "As well as the prompt response to my note. Has she found you?"

Helen nods, a bit cautiously. "So she seemed. I just hope she gives me no trouble. However, I feel bad for her. She really does not seem to want to be here."

"I can imagine." Helen smiles. "Anyway, I just wanted to check those things with you. I hope all goes well with both her and little Anthony." She grins. "Try to get some sleep and have a good night!"

"I will. Thank you. I'm sure he'll be out and about as he gets bigger and better able to handle crowds." A wince. "He gets a little cranky nowadays."

"We may just take you up on that, soon enough." He scrubs a hand through his hair. "Right now, though, he tends to prefer his mum to anyone."

Helen smiles. "Many young children seem to do so." She nods. "I should probably sleep. May you be blessed with sleep as well." She smiles again.
