Castle burning sitting in a booth, looking a bit out-of-sorts.

Because mun is working on large, unpleasant term paper, he won't be hugely inclined towards conversation, but he's around.

Fire at will.

gorlim, námo, lee castle

Námo is also sitting in a booth, a different book in his hands and a glass of Atlantean, half-consumed.

The porcupine is purposefully ignoring the hedgehog.

The hedgehog merely does not notice the porcupine. He also doesn't think this something to be getting drunk over, and so when he does notice both porcupine and Atlantean, he narrows his eyes.

The porcupine is not getting drunk.

He learned his lesson about that a long time ago.

And it is not only their argument weighing on him, but a conversation with the bird that followed it.

"Are you now to judge my drinking habits as well as my lack of skills where fucking you is concerned?" he asks as he turns the page.

Yes, but he doesn't know about the conversation.

He rolls his eyes and sips his coffee.

"I never said you were lacking in skill. I just said you weren't as good as Mercutio. And I only said it because you were pissing me off; it isn't even true. Can we be done with this now?"

A sip of his drink.

"If you wish," he replies dismissively.

More eyerolling, but he's serious.

"Look. I am sorry. It was out of line and I didn't mean it."

He finally looks up from his book, eyes unhappy and lips grim.

"I understand I was not being kind to you. You did not have to say that, of all the things you could have."

"I'd say it was about equivalent to telling me I didn't have as much depth as a sonnet."

"Of course," he says, personally believing that if he had told Lee Gorlim was better than he was in bed, Lee would have been hurt as well. "I apologize, then, for calling you shallow."

He returns to his book.

As much as Lee loves Gorlim, he wouldn't have cared, because...well, he knows better.

"Told you it wasn't true anyway."

The book is disgarded with a light toss.

"And because you do not mean it, it is not supposed to have hurt as much as it has? Forgive me if I cannot cease feeling the sting upon your apology."

"You started it," he snaps. "And I forgave you. I am sorry, I didn't mean it, I won't say it again, and I don't know what else you want from me here."

Being angry with Lee was exhausting, and when he really thought about -- brushed against Lee's mind -- he knew Lee spoke the truth. He sighs, closing his eyes.

"I am sorry," he says quietly. "You have said all I could ask for you to, and I am ungrateful not to leave it be."

He rubs his eyes. "We okay, then?"

"Yes," he replies. "I dislike arguing with you, despite how often we seem to do it."

"You always say that if we aren't fighting, we're fucking." He sips his coffee pensively. "I'd say we're better at the fucking, overall."

He glances over at Namo. The can I come sit with you? is unspoken.
