He peers down at Violet.
"Glad to make your acquaintance. Friend of Charlie's?"

"Okay," he gestures to the bar with one hand as the other pats her gently on the arm, "from what I understand, I came in here from later in my timeline the first time, so now people know me and I don't know them."
He gives her a friendly, reassuring smile.
"But the way I figure it, if you were my friend then, there's no reason for you not to be my friend now. And you seem like a nice enough girl, kid."

Part of her was hoping that it was simply because she'd gotten older, even though she knew she still looked the same.
"So you don't remember at all then. Well I guess you can't remember if you haven't been here yet...or something."
She glances at Kevin. "Hi."
And then she remembers something that's probably important. "I'm Violet."

"You were like a brother to me before. I'm going to assume you're still as great a guy as you used to be. I'm older now. So that's kind of funny. You're younger than you were, and I'm older than I was."
She blushes, hair falling down into her face a bit.
