Elrond sits down, arranging his robe around him as he does so. And manages to make it look natural.

Elrond nods, understanding in his eyes. And then he stays quiet. Leaving space for William to fill, if he needs to. Offering company if that is all that is needed.
Healing isn't all about potions, poultices, and tisanes.
"Some will go to my father in law, the rest likely to my son-in-law, the King of Gondor and Arnor. A few tomes have been promised to specific individuals, so they have to be packed down and arrangements must be made for their safe delivery.
He nods. "Those in my household who have not already left are all working with the slow dismantling. And as my household has been large it is still considerable, even without those who have left."
"It is a beautiful evening," he says, quietly. "Even if the stars here are strange and makes me long for the heavens of my homeland."
