Pre-Note: The rich text editor is working for me now, (kind of, grrr...) but thanks for the suggestions! I looked into the clients, and I'll definitely have to look into the firefox add-on. I have Internet Explorer AND Firefox, but I never really use the latter. Might be time to start :)
So I've never been a really standout decorator/ builder, and I never really wanted to. It was more like a chore. I just wanted to play or take pictures! But lately I've been enjoying the building aspect of it, and for my new challenge it was kind of necessary to create my own building.
aledstrange hit the nail on the head! I'm doing a Bachelorette challenge! I love this challenge. It's fun, easy, and just the right amount of time for my attention span. I've done it several times before, but never recorded it.
I'm going to write it kind of like a story, and I'm going to include a kind of prolouge to set it up. I had to include Kimberly somehow!
Moving on to Samantha Cordial though... I had to have her as my Bachelorette for a particular reason other than she's gorgeous.
In her bio, it states that she left a highschool sweetheart in her hometown before moving to Bella Donna Cove. I wanted to toy with the idea that she left him behind because she told him she had some ~mystical powerz~ and he reacted negatively, breaking her heart. Even though in game she hasn't chosen to follow the path of light, I think all witches have an underlying gift that hasn't been brought to the surface yet. She revealed she had these powers, and he broke it off or something along those lines. I think it'll be intresting to write about how it affects her, and eventually the other contestants.
Anyways! Under the cut is the pictures of the 'Bachelorette Pad'
Enjoy :)
These photos were taken in Build Mode, I haven't moved the Bachelorette and all her lucky suitors in yet, so I apologize for the lines!
The outside of the 2 seperate buildings. I've found it best to completely seperate the Bachelorette from the suitors, at least sometimes. Let's go see her house first!
Can I just say I want her bedroom? I'm actually jealous of a fictional bunch of pixels right now.
A soak in her tub wouldn't be that bad either :P
And then her kitchen and living room! I was going to take a picture of the view from Samantha's balcony, but too many build lines @.@
Moving on to the guys pad...
Firstly the living room from several angles...
I kinda want to make it full of groupish activities. I thought the karaoke would be fun :)
Down the hall and into the...
Kitchen!
Then we have 3 seperate bedrooms...
The Green room with 3 beds,
The Red room with 3 beds, which is basically a mirror of the Green room, and finally..
..the Blue room, which only has 2 beds, and is off the main hallway.
I included a workout room because we want some buff suitors ;) It's just off the living room!
I didn`t take pictures of the bathrooms, they`re small, and who really wants to see those? I did however did take 2 photos of my favourite room in the house!
The backyard! Note: I find that a pool table is really good for forming relationships all around. Sims tend to play pool alot, but not obsessively, just if there's nothing better to do.
~Artistic Shot~
I've included another lighthouse picture, because you can never have enough of those, right!? Right...
Following are the awkward above shots, for those intrested in layouts. The lot is the biggest beach lot, so it was difficult to include both buildings in one shot.
The Bachelorette Pad
The Suitors Pad.
Anyways, I hope you've enjoyed the little tour of Lover's Paradise! I hope to post the Introduction to the challenge, and maybe a profile of all the contestants? Or should I just wait to reveal them when the Bachelorette starts? I haven't shot the Prolouge yet, or created the suitors in game yet, and I plan on playing/shooting ahead so I'm not playing as I'm posting. If I'm busy a week, and don't have time to play, I don't want to not post anything. Maybe a profile would peak your interest?
Sorry for the ramble, not quite sure if that made sense.
Anyways (Has anybody noticed I tend to say that alot? :P)
Happy Simming!
