He's Loving, Touching, Squeezing Another
So, my ex-husband has a new girlfriend.
He told me when he dropped Julia off yesterday afternoon. I supposed I shouldn't be too surprised. I wasn't at first, in fact. I mean, the whole reason he's my ex-husband is because he was sleeping with another women (who also happened to be married, just not to him). I know that he dated his way through our divorce and the past 5 years. However, its never been serious enough for him to introduce her to his my our daughter.
Julia says that she looks like a Barbie and smells like peaches. She seems to like her though. I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse about the situation.
He cheats, she ends it. He's fine and she's in ruins. Then, he stops paying child support because he remarries and is soon father to twins who are your daughter's siblings, but not your children. They send you their Christmas card every year and you have to stare at their smiling, happy faces and matching sweaters. They get her for more holidays. She'll like it better there, were there is more money and more love to go around.
I don't know what to do, what to say. I do know that we need to get out of here. J and I are ditching the house, at least for the rest of the day. We'll be somewhere in Lima. Where, I don't know yet.
I just know that it won't be around any married people.
