I had a big problem with my LJ account, and after opening up a support ticket with them, this was the conclusion:
Dear LiveJournal user adamaddict_rh,
Thank you for your report. We have reviewed the available logged information for your account and have found conclusive evidence that someone has gained unauthorized access to your account. In order to resecure your LiveJournal account, you will need to take the steps described in the FAQ located at http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=117. You should follow those steps in order, as described, to ensure that your account will be as secure as possible. Unfortunately, if your profile, entries, or userpics have been deleted or altered, they cannot be restored to their prior condition.
Part of what happened is that all my communities were removed, aside from lots of other stuff unfortunately. Anyway, I've re-joined them all, but TeamLambliff is a closed community, so I couldn't get in touch with you. ontd_ai was tough too, but I finally got in touch with a mod and was put back in this morning. Can you please add me back in as a member. I'm definitely going through withdrawal. I have to say that this is my favorite community and while I always new this, it was definitely confirmed after it was gone.
Can you help me out?
