- my birthday in 19 days
As part of my birthday festivities, I want to go to Barnes & Noble and buy several books. While waiting for my brother and dad after this evening, I browsed the shelves and saw quite a few books, some classics, some more recent bestsellers, that I would really love to read. I miss reading for leisure… Musicology books can be interesting, yes, but I hardly had time to read "for fun" this spring.
I just realized today that, all this semester, I was missing my friends and family at home while reveling in the company of Maria, Ben, and my voice teacher and her family…
But now that I am home, I miss my school friends (many of whom graduated and are thus off to their next adventures) and my voice teacher and her family. Oy. Does this mean that the rest of my life, I will be missing someone?
Speaking of missing… Now that Mad Men is over, and I already re-watched the previous 4 seasons, I guess it's time to finally crack Downton Abbey.
