Crazy Amazing, because that's what my life is

Today has been, for lack of a better word, amazing.

NO MORE EXAMS. Excuse me while I go die of happiness in a corner.

Drama went pretty well, after which there was an odd moment when we didn't recognise Henry while standing outside Helen's drive waiting for my mum to turn up. Rob's hair was mucho fluffy.

Then, after a brief pastrami bagel at home, mother and I went out. I bought lots of clothes (to be given to me on my birthday) and picked out my main birthday present- a really beautiful Armami watch, because I've been desperate for a nice watch for ages and it looks lovely on and doesn't swamp my dwarf wrist and GAH how I do love it. :D

And I GOT MY EARS PIERCED. FINALLY. We went to House of Fraser, but the lady who does the ear piercing was out, so we went to Claire's. There were two woman who did an ear each at the same time. Let me tell you- having a woman on either side of you with sharp flesh-piercing weapons in contact to your skin, while sitting in an uncomfortable chair next to a window so the whole of the shopping centre can see your inner wuss/turmoil, is NOT fun. I'm fairly sure I looked something along the lines of X.X- but it really wasn't that bad. I've walked into tables that hurt more. Like, in the past week.

They're really nice- only little sliver-fake-diamond-studs, but they're really pretty and they don't make my lobes look huge. And they're not wonky (thanks for that unnecessary paranoia, Steph/Abbie) at all, and every time I walk past a mirror I look at them. I keep forgetting I've had them done.

I'm totally on edge about the washing/twirling regime, though. I'm worried I'm twirling them around wrong- 180 degree half turn 2 or 3 times, 2 or 3 times a day. GAH SO STRESSFUL.

The rest of the day was awesome, too- we went to Starbucks and I had a nice mango and peach concoction. Then we went and nosed in jewellry shops and tried on necklaces that cost more than most cars. Just for the LOLs.

When we got to M&S, my mum bought loads of clothes, then decided to return them all and buy them back with her vouchers for money off. During this, I went down to the foodhall to start buying all the BBQ stuff. And concluded that when I get to uni I'm going to slowly starve to death due to a complete inability to buy food. I was just like "Hurm, dip. Shall I buy this sour cream and chive or this humus? Or neither? I think neither." Repeat that about 20 times, and that is food shopping with Millie.

BIRTHDAY PARTY TOMORROW. THEN BIRTHDAY. THEN MALLORCA. THEN PRIZE GIVING. THEN 3 WEEKS OF FRANCE. THEN 7 WEEKS OF SUMMER.

Someone on CSI just said 'I'm the boss'. I approve.

Timeless, summer-y and completely awesome song from Squeeze below. Listen, if you want to consider yourself a well-rounded musical individual -
